SECRET CINEMA - DREAMING OF MY PAST
Secret Cinema is a group of young musicians, created by Beppe Crovella, to perform these 2 long suites, 'In the Autumn of my Dreams' and 'Through the Windows of Time', composed by himself.
These 2 suites are 2 Art-prog, symphonically oriented compositions, with rich group orchestrations in alternance to (emulated) string orchestra parts featuring highly expressive vocals by the talented Agnese Cacciola (that some time later will reach 'hit Parade's first places as solo singer under the name Neja, as well as drummer Enrico Matta, original Subsonica's drummer, who reached top places in Italy with the band).
Beppe Crovella's full range of Vintage keyboards is fully featured on this project, often in a guitar/keyboard context (in this sense, close to Yes-like colours, in the arrangements , to give an approximate idea), always in a personal way, opening space in the suite for large 'string orchestra' parts, with intense, romantic, touching vocals by Agnese Cacciola.
Petro Verri is a gifted 'a la Squire' bass player that plays also Chapam's STick (Tony Levin's favourite) while Andrea Mignone is on guitar and Sabine Monsberger is on flute, from Vienna.
