BEPPE CROVELLA - KEYBOARDS' TILT
A totally new rendition of arti & mestieri's classic first album 'tilt' in a new "keyboard trio" version + vocals, with expanded, longer arrangements, apporaching the project as if the original themes had been composed for a 'keyboard band'
A bit of a departure from the original version, expanding 'tilt' to new landscapes, still maintaining that 70's color and arti & mestieri's unique melodic identity.
The trio's dynamite playing alternates with well-constructed mellotron or grand piano landscapes and with Bernardo Lanzetti's expressive vocals, delivering a very personal interpretation of the original songs within "Tilt".
A 'vintage Keyboards' orchestra' feel pervades the whole album, from Hammond to Mellotron, from Minimoog to Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Clavinet, not forgetting Grand Piano: it's Beppe's home.
Furio Chirico reviews and expands with freshness his original parts in these update expanded arrangements with Roberto Cassetta's authentic Prog Rock bass lines.
A bonus track ,'Moog for a day', a piece for 8 Minimoogs, dedicated to the late Robert Moog who died in the days when that album was recorded, completes the lasting emotional "resonances" of the project.
